Bibic bubble wall

A £5,000 ERSF grant has enabled bibic to replace a broken bubble wall for the sensory room. This in turn has enabled the therapy team to provide a full sensory assessment of every child that visits the centre.

Lucie Howells, bibic’s fundraising manager, said: “The bubble tubes in our multi sensory room provide a calming and relaxed atmosphere where our therapists can observe and assess clients and monitor and detect changes in ability or just simply promote relaxation for those who are agitated or stressed.

“The bubble tubes are intrinsic to our sensory room providing a host of benefits including visual stimulation, development of cause and effect skills, colour sequencing for colour matching, encouraging touch through vibration and use in themed activities.”
