Garden Reach Slum Development

Garden Reach Slum Development received £11,000 from ERSF to help finance its ‘Livelihood Support Programme’.

The money was used for the vocational training programme – hand embroidery making, tailoring training, kite making, computer training and beautician equipment – as well as staff costs and overheads.

Some 400 disadvantaged people in the community, including 50 primary school children, benefitted from the support programme
