React Equipment

Vital educational and developmental equipment to improve the lives of terminally ill children from financially disadvantaged families has been purchased by React with a little help from ERSF.

The £2,000 grant paid for a specially adapted tricycle for a two-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy, sensory equipment for a 16 month-old boy with liver disease, and a sensory panel for a three-year-old girl with Ohtahara Syndrome.

“The grant has been hugely beneficial to React families as it has enabled the charity to provide families caring for a terminally ill child with items that aid the child’s education and development,” explained React’s Director of Client Swervices Vicky Andreas. “This equipment can come in many forms, with each item ensuring that depsite their condition, life-limited children are able to participate in life to the fullest degree.”
