An ERSF grant to SEED (Society for Educational & Environmental Development) has been used to help with the protection and rehabilitation of children on platforms and stations.

With the active leadership of Project responsible and the team comprising multipurpose worker, Centre Educator, Doctor and Vocational trainer, the problems of run away children and street children have been addressed through Day Protection Centre and temporary shelter.

Early intervention is made with the support of Railway Protection Force, G.R.P. and secondary stake holders for repatriation and reunification of children with their family. Educational support is provided during bridging classes. Recreation through local picnic place is provided annually.
